While driving around Santa Monica looking for parking so I could pick up some things at REI, I stumbled across the Santa Monica College Performing Arts Center. I was so impressed with the beauty of the building, I had to pull over and snap a photo. I can't wait to catch a performance so I can checkout inside.
Other exciting news, I found an esthetician that is AMAZING (i feel like I'm saying that a lot lately). Salon Republic is a building filled with little studios leased by health and beauty entrepreneurs. It nice to support local small businesses without the struggle of driving all over LA county. With one stop, I can visit Kenya and her sugaring studio, get my nails done, take a private Pilates class, do some meditation, and get a facial.
I know where I'll be spending my weekends.
